Disconnect the ribbon lift motor connector at the printhead (see Figure 106 on page 357). Measure the resistance of the motor windings. See "Ribbon Lift Motor Wiring" on page 253. Is the resistance correct? Yes Go to step 9 on page 93. No Install a new ribbon lift motor. See "Ribbon Lift Motor" on page 405. Run T&D in automatic mode to verify correct printer operation.
