Table 1. Abbreviated list of firmware error codes (continued) Error code Failing device or problem found Suggested action 25C10003 One component in a DIMM pair is either unsupported or defective, or a DIMM pair contains unmatched components. Note: For additional information about DIMMs, see "Installing memory modules" on page 24. 1. Make sure that all the DIMMs in the blade server are supported. Replace all the unsupported DIMMs. 2. Make sure that the DIMMs are installed in matched pairs. If the DIMMs are not installed in matched pairs, reinstall them in matched pairs. 3. Make sure that the DIMMs are correctly seated. If necessary, reseat the DIMMs. 4. Restart the blade server. 5. Remove and reinstall the DIMMs one at a time until the failing DIMM is isolated. Replace the defective DIMM. 26020008 PCI device firmware code evaluation error. If the location code identifies a slot: 1. Reseat the adapter and restart the blade server. 2. Replace the adapter. 3. Check the http://www.ibm.com/support Web site for system firmware updates. Apply the latest update, if one is available. 4. If an update is not available, contact a system administrator for assistance. 2803000A The Hypervisor function to get or set the time-of-day (TOD) reported an error. If the location code identifies the system board, replace the system-board assembly. Contact a service support representative for assistance. Errors that are reported against the real-time clock can be caused by low battery voltage and (more rarely) by power outages that occur during normal system usage. These errors are warnings that the real-time clock data content must be re-established, and do not require any component or FRU replacement unless the problem remains. When one of these errors occurs, the time and date information has been lost. Reset the system date and time through the operating system that you installed. 2B208888 If the problem remains, perform the following steps: 1. Check for system or service processor firmware updates. Apply the latest updates, if they are available. 2. Replace the battery in the blade server. For additional information, see the Hardware Maintenance and Troubleshooting Guide. Note: After you replace the battery, the blade server is automatically reconfigured; however, you must reset the system date and time through the operating system that you installed. 3. If the problem remains, replace the blade server. Contact a service support representative for assistance. Operating-system termination request This is an informational message. No action is required. has been received. 76 BladeCenter JS20 Type 8842: Installation and User's Guide
