Take the processor out of the box and remove the protective shipping cover. Orient the processor with the socket so that the orientation notches on the processor align with the two orientation posts on the socket (see letter A). Note the location of the gold key at the corner of the processor (see letter B). Figure 18. Installing Processor - Install the Processor NOTE The underside of the processor has components that may damage the socket pins if installed improperly. Processor must align correctly with the socket opening before installation. DO NOT DROP processor into socket! 4. Carefully lower the load plate over the processor. Figure 19. Install the Processor. Take the processor out of the box and remove the protective shipping
cover. Orient the processor with the socket so that the orientation notches on the processor
align with the two orientation posts on the socket (see letter

).
Note the location of the gold

NOTE
