A M START/STOP/ TRANS. Button MENU/SET Dial EN79 7 POSITION CAMCORDERS [For both receiving and transmitting camcorders] Position the transmitting and receiving camcorders so that their infrared transmitter and receiver face each other. •The distance between them should be less than 1.6 ft. (50 cm) and the transmitter and receiver should be angled no more than 15˚ to each other. 8 TRANSMIT IMAGE [For transmitting camcorder] Press START/STOP/TRANS. Image transmission starts and the message "TRANSMISSION IN PROGRESS" is displayed. 9 RECEIVE IMAGE [For receiving camcorder] Rotate MENU/SET until "RECEIVE" appears and press it. Image reception starts and the message "RECEPTION IN PROGRESS" is displayed. Reception is complete when the message disappears. NOTES: ● Be sure to supply power from the AC Power Adapter/ Charger instead of the battery pack. ● [For transmitting camcorder] • Be sure to set "IrTran-P" back to "OFF" when the transmission is finished. • An image with a title/frame can also be transmitted. • If the message "COMMUNICATION FAILED" is displayed within approx. 60 seconds after START/ STOP/TRANS. is pressed, check the equipment orientation, power supplies, etc. and retry the transmission. • To abort transmission in the middle, press START/ STOP/TRANS. The message "COMMUNICATION FAILED" is displayed. ● [For receiving camcorder] • If the message "COMMUNICATION FAILED" is displayed, check the equipment orientation, power supply, etc. and retry the transmission. • "IrTran-P" automatically returns to "OFF" when the reception is complete or it fails.

POSITION CAMCORDERS
[For both receiving and transmitting camcorders]
Position the transmitting and receiving camcorders so
that their infrared transmitter and receiver face each
other.
•The distance between them should be less than 1.6
ft. (50 cm) and the transmitter and receiver should
be angled no more than 15˚ to each other.

TRANSMIT IMAGE
[For transmitting camcorder]
Press
START/STOP/TRANS
. Image transmission starts
and the message “TRANSMISSION IN PROGRESS” is
displayed.

RECEIVE IMAGE
[For receiving camcorder]
Rotate
MENU/SET
until “RECEIVE” appears and press
it. Image reception starts and the message “RECEP-
TION IN PROGRESS” is displayed. Reception is
complete when the message disappears.
NOTES:
●
Be sure to supply power from the AC Power Adapter/
Charger instead of the battery pack.
●
[For transmitting camcorder]
•
Be sure to set “IrTran-P” back to “OFF” when the
transmission is finished.
•
An image with a title/frame can also be transmitted.
•
If the message “COMMUNICATION FAILED” is
displayed within approx. 60 seconds after
START/
STOP/TRANS.
is pressed, check the equipment
orientation, power supplies, etc. and retry the
transmission.
•
