Turn on the VCR and the TV, and select the AV mode on the TV. VCR TV CABLE/DBS 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 3 4 5 2 3 4 EN 19 Setting DBS receiver output channel & brand After installation, set the DBS receiver's output channel and its brand correctly; otherwise, the Controller cannot work correctly. 1 Turn on DBS receiver Select a channel other than channel 55, 100 or 205 on your DBS receiver. 2 Access Main Menu screen on VCR Press MENU. 3 Access Tuner Set Up screen Press %fi to move the highlight bar (arrow) to "TUNER SET UP", then press OK. 4 Access DBS Receiver Set screen Press %fi to move the highlight bar (arrow) to "DBS RECEIVER SET UP", then press OK. TUNER SET UP BAND CATV AUTO CHANNEL SET UP MANUAL CHANNEL SET GUIDE CHANNEL SET CABLE BOX SET UP 3 DBS RECEIVER SET UP PRESS (5∞), THEN (OK) PRESS (MENU) TO END 5 Select DBS receiver output channel Your selection depends on how your DBS receiver is connected to your VCR. ● If your DBS receiver DBS RECEIVER SET UP is connected to your VCR's ANTENNA IN OFF terminal on the rear panel Press @ # until the channel number PRESS (2 3), THEN (OK) PRESS (MENU) TO END representing the DBS receiver's output (CH3 or CH4) appears on the screen. ● If your DBS receiver is connected to your VCR's AUDIO/VIDEO IN connectors on the front panel Press @ # until "ON F-1 (FRONT)" appears on the screen. ● If your DBS receiver is connected to your VCR's AUDIO/VIDEO IN (L-1) or AUDIO/VIDEO IN (L-2) connectors on the rear panel Press @ # until "ON L-1 (REAR)" or "ON L-2 (REAR)" appears on the screen. ● If you do not use a DBS receiver Press @ # until "OFF" appears on the screen.
