7. Enter the email address where you want a notification to be sent that an email could not be delivered by the Scan Station in the Return Email Address field. This email address will also be put in the From field on the email. 8. If you do not want the user to have the ability to enter an email address that is not currently in the address book, uncheck the Allow custom Email Addresses checkbox. 9. If you do not want the user to have the ability to enter information in the subject line when scanning to email destinations, uncheck the Allow custom Email Subject checkbox. 10. Select the security type to setup a secure connection to your email server. Selections are: None, SSL or Use StartTLS. • SSL: select this option if your email server requires Secure Socket Layer (SSL). • Use StartTLS: select this option if you want to enable a secure SMTP connection. NOTE: If selected, make sure your email server is configured to use StartTLS. If it is not, the Scan Station will fail to send an email. 11. Click Test Connection if you want to check to be sure your settings are correct. When finished, a Success or Failure message will be displayed. If the test connection failed, verify that all of your settings are correct and make any necessary changes, until a Success message is displayed. NOTE: You may need to use the scroll bar to access the Test Connection button. Depending on the options you selected on the main Device Settings screen, you will have the option of clicking Next which will display the next device you want to configure, or Finish which will return you to the Configuration tab. Depending on the options you selected on the main Device Settings
screen, you will have the option of clicking

which will display the
next device you want to configure, or

which will return you to the
Configuration tab.
