Figure 9.1 Event Information Window Each message that appears in the event log has a severity level that indicates the importance of the event, as shown in Table 9.1, a date and timestamp, and a brief description. You can click an event to display the same information in a window. (For a list of all events, see Section Appendix A, "Events and Messages.") Table 9.1 Event Severity Levels Severity Level Meaning Information Informational message. No user action is necessary. Warning Critical Fatal Some component might be close to a failure point.
