The Smart Portrait Menu Image Mode (Image Size and Quality) See "Changing the Image Size (Image Mode)" (A61) for more information on Image mode. Skin Softening Display the shooting screen in smart portrait mode (A49) M d button M F tab (A11) M Skin softening Enable skin softening. When the shutter is released, the camera detects one or more human faces (up to three), and processes the image to make facial skin tones softer before saving the image. The degree of skin softening applied can be selected from High, Normal (default setting), and Low. • When skin softening is enabled, the icon for the current setting is displayed on the monitor during shooting (A6). When Off is selected, an icon for the current setting is not displayed. The effects of skin softening are not visible when framing pictures for shooting. Check the degree of skin softening performed in playback mode. Skin Softening
Enable skin softening.
When the shutter is released, the camera detects one or more human faces (up to
