The Movie Menu Autofocus Mode Display the shooting screen M d button M e (Movie) tab (A11) M Autofocus mode Choose how the camera focuses when recording normal speed movies (E52). Option Description A Single AF (default setting) Lock on the focus when the b (e movie-record) button is pressed to start recording. Select this option when the distance between the camera and the subject remains fairly consistent. B Full-time AF The camera focuses continuously during movie recording. Suitable for shooting when the distance between the camera and subject changes. The operation sound when the camera focuses may be recorded. Setting to Single AF is recommended if the sound is noticeable. Movie Light Display the shooting screen M d button M e (Movie) tab (A11) M Movie light Enable or disable the movie light that assists recording in dark places during movie recording. Option On Off (default setting) Description The movie light is turned on for lighting when movies are recorded. The movie light is turned off. Reference Section Wind Noise Reduction Display the shooting screen M d button M D (Movie) tab (A11) M Wind noise reduction Set whether or not to reduce wind noise during normal-speed movie recording (E52). Option Description Y On k Off (default setting) The noise of wind blowing on the camera's built-in microphone is minimized during recording. This setting is suitable for recording in strong winds. Other sounds may become difficult to hear in playback mode. Wind noise is not reduced. When On is selected, an icon for this setting is displayed on the monitor during movie recording (A6). E56
