USEFUL FUNCTIONS Selecting original mode Select the original mode for the image quality best suited to 1 your originals. Note • The Original Mode setting is not available when [GRAY SCALE] is selected for the color mode setting. 2 Changing orientation With the rotation setting, you can change the orientation of your scans. If necessary, select the desired rotation pattern from the following options: 3 4 [TEXT] - Select this option to scan text originals. [TEXT/PHOTO] - Select this option to scan originals 5 containing text and photos. [PHOTO] - Select this option to scan originals containing photos printed on photographic paper. 6 - Select this option to rotate your scans 90 degrees to the right. - Select this option to scan originals without a change in orientation. - Select this option to rotate your scans 90 degrees to the left. - Select this option to rotate your scans 180 degrees. Scanning 2-sided originals With the Single/2-sided Scan setting, you can choose whether to scan your originals on both sides. Select from the following options: 7 - 182 -
