Lift
the
needle
plate
off
and
pass
the
gimp
thread
through
round
hole
“A”.
After
that
re-insert
the
needle
plate.
Notch
“B”
is
the
entry
groove
(Fig.
1).
Place
the
roll
of
gimp
thread
in
front
of
the
machine
(see
Fig.
2).
Place
the
beginning
of
the
gimp
thread
together
with
the
needle-
and
bottom
threads
back
under
the
cording
foot.
Move
the
detachable
work
sup
port
up
to
the
machine.
Choose
a
gimp
thread
of
the
same
colour
as
the
outer
fabric.

Iron
the
first
fold
line
and
stitch
at
the
required
width.
Prepare
and
stitch
the
further
fold
groups
in
the
same
manner
(Fig.
3).
For
stitching
down
wider
pleats
we
recommend
using
the
edge
guide.
Adjust
the
edge
guide
to
the
required
width.
Guide
the
material
so
that
the
fold
runs
along
the
edge
guide.
