Prepending a Phone Number From a Web Message After you display a Sprint PCS Web Message that contains call back number, press to display message options. If you happen to be outside your local area code and need to add a prefix to a phone number: 1. Highlight Prepend and press . 2. Enter the digits or pauses (see below) you want to add to the number. If you want to save the number, select the Save option. If not, the changes only apply to the current call. 3. To select an option, highlight it and press . ᮣ Call to dial the phone number. ᮣ Call: Speaker On to dial the phone number with Speaker Phone mode. ᮣ Save to store the phone number in your Internal Phone Book. ᮣ Hard Pause to insert a hard pause. (See "Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses" on page 37.) ᮣ 2-Second Pause to insert a 2-second pause. (See "Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses" on page 37.) ᮣ Exit to return to the previous display. Extracting Phone Numbers or Email/Web Addresses From Sprint PCS Web Messages After you display a Sprint PCS Web Message, press to display message options. To extract a phone number, e-mail or web address contained in the message: 1. Highlight Extract, and press . 2. Highlight Phone#, E-mail Address or Web Address, and press . (If there is no appropriate information to extract from the message, the numbers or addresses do not display.) 3. Highlight the number or address you want to extract and press . 4. To select an option, highlight it and press . "Phone#" options: ᮣ Call to dial the phone number. ᮣ Call: Speaker On to dial the phone number with Speaker Phone mode. ᮣ Save Phone# to save the phone number if it is not already in your Internal Phone Book. Or if the phone number has already stored in the Phone Book entry, Alternate #s appears instead of Save Phone#. ᮣ Prepend to add numbers to the beginning of the phone number. (See "Prepending a Phone Number From a Web Message" on page 66.) ᮣ Next to extract next phone number. ᮣ Previous to extract previous phone number. "Email Address" options: ᮣ Send E-mail to send e-mail. ᮣ Save E-mail to save the e-mail address if it is not already in your Internal Phone Book. Or if the e-mail address has already stored in the Phone Book entry, Alternate appears instead of Save Email. Tip: If the message has more than two phone numbers to extract, these features are available. "Web Address" options: ᮣ Visit Site to visit the web site (if applicable). ᮣ Save Web to save the web address if it is not already in your Internal Phone Book.
