Setting Alerts Your phone comes with several different options to keep you aware of what's going on by sounding the alert tone. ᮣ Service sets alert On or Off for network services parameter changes. ᮣ Messages sets alert for Messages (page/text) receiving. Settings are: "Once", "+ Reminder" (every 2 minutes for 20 minutes that a message is waiting) and "Off" ᮣ Minute Beep sets a minute reminder that beeps ten seconds before the end of each minute during a call. To set the alerts: 1. From the main menu, highlight Sounds and press . 2. Highlight Alerts and press . 3. Highlight your desired option from Service, Messages or Minute Beep and press . 4. Highlight your desired setting and press . Setting Tone Length To adjust the key beep length and touch tone playback speed. 1. From the main menu, highlight Sounds and press . 2. Highlight Tone Length and press . 3. Select Short or Long and press . Setting Melody Tempo Your phone allows you to change the tempo of melodies that are selected as the ringer at "Ringer Type". 1. From the main menu, highlight Sounds and press . 2. Highlight Melody Tempo and press . 3. Highlight a melody title, and press . 4. Select your desired melody tempo and press .
