Clean the scanning glass as explained on page 144. The paper comes out blank when you make a copy. • Make sure the original is placed face down in the feeder. The size of the printed document image does not match the size of the paper. • Make sure that the paper size setting is correct (see page 140). • Make sure an appropriate enlarge/reduce setting is selected (see page 109). No reception occurs when
polling is attempted.
Make sure the transmitting machine is in automatic
reception mode.
If the transmitting machine has polling security, make
sure that your fax number has been entered both in
your machine (see page 24) and in the transmitting
machine.

Any dirt or material on the scanning glass will cause
