7. Appendix Caution to the installation for the Tilt-free projection • Do not install the projector in the state of facing up/down or inclined directly on a floor and a table. If the projector falls down, It may cause of malfunction, damage, human injury or hazardous laser radiation exposure. If the intake vents are obstructed, the projector inside temperature will increase and it may cause of malfunction and fire. • Make sure to produce the support metal for the projector as the ceiling mount metal. Please ask the service company about the support metal production. (for a fee) • In case you need to install the projector in tilted angle, please install the projector by support metals that have enough durability to support the projector for a long time. Design and manufacturing conditions for a stand and a ceiling mount metal of the projector Please hire an installation service provider (for a fee) to design and manufacture customized stand and ceiling mount metal. Please ensure that the design complies with the following conditions: • There are intake openings and exhaust openings on the side of the main unit, exhaust openings on the rear, intake openings on the front, intake openings on the top side. Make sure that the design does not obstruct these openings. Also make sure to secure enough space to allow easy removal of the filter cover for cleaning the filter. • Remove the level adjusters or the projector handles in case these hit against the stand. For removing the level adjuster, rotate the level adjuster itself, and for removing the handle, remove the handle fastening screws. • Fix the stand onto the ceiling mount screw holes (4 positions) on the projector bottom face. Dimensions of screw hole: for M8 screw Maximum depth 20 mm (Calculate the bolt length depending on the stand design) • Horizontal adjustment mechanism (for example, bolts and nuts in 4 places) • Make sure to design the stand not falling over easily. • Make sure if the projector is fixed on the surface that has enough durability to stand the whole projector weight (the projector weight including LV unit 170 kg plus the lens weight 9 kg, i.e., 179 kg in total) for a long time. Design and manufacturing conditions for a stand and a ceiling mount metal of the projector
Please hire an installation service provider (for a fee) to design and manufacture customized stand and ceiling mount
metal. Please ensure that the design complies with the following conditions:
There are intake openings and exhaust openings on the side of the main unit, exhaust openings on the rear, intake
openings on the front, intake openings on the top side. Make sure that the design does not obstruct these open-
ings. Also make sure to secure enough space to allow easy removal of the filter cover for cleaning the filter.

adjuster, rotate the level adjuster itself, and for removing the handle, remove the handle fastening screws.
Fix the stand onto the ceiling mount screw holes (4 positions) on the projector bottom face.
Dimensions of screw hole: for M8 screw Maximum depth 20 mm (Calculate the bolt length depending on the stand
design)
