Before Setting Up Your Projector Lens shifting range This projector is equipped with a lens shift function for adjusting the position of the projected image by using the LENS SHIFT buttons (→ page 77). The lens can be shifted within the range shown below. NOTE: • Please do not use the lens shift function when projecting portrait images. Please use it with the lens in the center. Legend: V "Vertical" refers to the screen height and H "Horizontal" refers to the screen width. Adjustment range in the vertical direction: the projected image can be moved upwards 0.5 × 139.9"/355.4 cm ≈ 70"/178 cm, downwards approximately 70"/178 cm (when the lens is at the center position). Adjustment range in the horizontal direction: the projected image can be moved to the left 0.17 × 265.4"/674.0 cm ≈ 45"/115 cm, to the right approximately 45"/115 cm. * Figures differ by several % because the calculation is approximate. 10
