The Straight Stitch NeedlePlate(C)maybepurchasedfrontyour sewingretailerandcanbeattachedasfollows: •Raiseneedleandpresserfoot. • Openslideplate. • Liftupneedleplatefromrightcornerandslide outfromunderfoot. • Toreplaceneedleplate,slideitunderpin(1) andpushitfirmlytotheleft. • Pressdownuntilitsnapsintoplace. Attachingthefeed cover (F) Thefeedcoverisusedtokeepthefeedfrom moving the fabric when attaching a button, darningorsewingfree-motionembroidery. To attachit,followthedirectionsbelow: •Raiseneedleandpresserfoot. • Openslideplate. •Slide feed cover on top of needle plate, pressingtabs(1)and(2)intoholes. • Closeslideplate. • Toremove,openslideplateandliftfrontedge ofcover;pullitaway. Removingthe extensiontable(Free-Arm) Freearmsewingmakesiteasiertosewhard-toreachareas. Tochangemachineforfree-armsewing,liftright edge(1)ofextensiontable,slideittotheleftand offthemachine. Toreplacetheextensionta ble,slideittotheright keepingitevenwiththefree-arm,untilthetabs ontherightlockintoplace. 14 Changerl'ampoule Attention: avant de changer l'ampoule, débranchezlamachine,retirezlaplaquedeface; cetteplaquedevraêtreremiseenplaqueaprès avoir changé l'ampoule, avant de mettre la machineenmarche.
