With thewrongsideoffabricuppermost,turn the hem under,asshown,creatingasoftfold fromthetopedgeofhem.Pinorbasteallthree layerstogetherinplace. Positionthehemunderthepresserfootwiththe softfoldrestingagainst wall of the guide, as shown. •Lower the presser foot and begin sewing, makingcertainthestraightstitchesfallonthe edgeofthehemandthezig-zagstitchesfall on the edge of the hem and the zig-zag stitchesjustpiercethesoftfoldofthework. Adjust stitch width if necessary.
