Recording a picture Shooting backlit subjects - Back light function When you shoot a subject with the light source behind the subject or a subject with a light background, use the back light function. (1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or MEMORY. (2) Press BACK LIGHT. The . indicator appears on the screen. BACK LIGHT To cancel the back light function Press BACK LIGHT again. When shooting backlit subjects If you set EXPOSURE to MANUAL (p. 61) or select SPOT METER (p. 62), the back light function will be canceled. Shooting in the dark - NightShot/Super NightShot/Color Slow Shutter Using NightShot NightShot enables you to shoot a subject in the night or in a dark place.
