Enjoying audio content stored on the server You can play back audio content stored on the server using the receiver in MP3, Linear PCM, WMA and AAC* formats. Audio content with DRM (Digital Rights Management) copyright protection cannot be played on this receiver. * The receiver can play AAC files with the extension of ".m4a", ".mp4" or ".3gp" only. Server SHIFT This receiver DISPLAY RETURN/ EXIT O N X HOME NETWORK ALPHABET SEARCH V/v/B/b, TOOLS/ OPTIONS MENU x 1 Press MENU. The menu is displayed on the TV screen. 2 Select " Music", then press or b. 3 Select "HOME NETWORK", then press or b. The server list appears on the TV screen. If the last selected item (playlist, album, folder, etc.) appears on the TV screen, press RETURN/EXIT O repeatedly until the server list appears. When "No Server" appears, or when the server on the list is not available, press TOOLS/OPTIONS. Select "Refresh", then press . The refreshed server list appears. Tip You can also use HOME NETWORK button on the remote control to select the Home Network function directly. 4 Select the server which holds the content you want to play back. The content list appears on the TV screen. Note If the server device supports the Wake-on-LAN standard, the receiver turns the server on automatically. If the server does not support the Wake-on-LAN standard, turn on the server in advance. For details on settings or operations of Wake-on-LAN of your server, refer to the operating instructions or help of your server. 5 Select the item (playlist, album, folder, etc.) you want, then press . If another item appears, repeat this step to narrow down the choices until the item you want appears. The items that are displayed depend on the connected server. 74US
