NOTE You can only record 60 seconds at a time. 4 When you have finished recording, click the Stop button. 5 To hear what you just recorded, click the Play button. 6 To save the file, select Save from the File menu. NOTE The microphone on your computer might be set to Mute. To check this, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, and then click Volume Control. Connecting an external microphone Your computer comes equipped with an internal microphone, but to record higher quality sounds, you can attach an external microphone: 1 Locate the microphone jack on the right side of the computer.
