Operating Basics Details To open the Details window, click the Setup Detail button in the TOSHIBA HDD Protection Properties window. Detection Level Amplification When the AC adaptor is disconnected or the lid is closed, HDD Detection assumes that the computer will be carried and sets the detection level to the maximum for 10 seconds. TOSHIBA HDD Protection Message Specify whether to display a message when TOSHIBA HDD Protection is active. This function does not work when the computer is starting, in Standby Mode, in hibernation mode, in transition to hibernation mode, recovering from hibernation mode, or power off.
