168 Toshiba Utilities Power Management You can either use one of the preset profiles or create and use your own customized mode. The preset profiles cannot be deleted. By changing the options that appear in the Toshiba Power Saver Properties window and clicking OK, you can reconfigure that function. Any options that you change become effective when you click either OK or Apply. Power Usage Profiles The preset profiles are: ❖ Long Life ❖ Normal ❖ High Power ❖ DVD Playback ❖ Presentation ❖ Full Power Although you can change the properties for any of these modes, this is not recommended. If you need a customized mode, create a new mode with the properties you require. The DVD Playback profile applies only when a DVD program is playing on battery power. Creating a new power mode 1 Highlight one of the preset profiles. 2 Click Copy. 3 A new profile appears with the title "Copy of Name" where Name is the title of the profile you copied. 4 To rename the profile, click the Property button. 5 Type the name for your new profile, and then click OK.
