Introduction AC adaptor Disks Hard disk drive USB floppy disk drive The AC adaptor provides power to the system and recharges the batteries when they are low. It comes with a detachable power cord. It encloses 2-pin plug or 3-pin plug type. Because it is universal, it can receive a range of AC voltage from 100 to 240 volts; however, the output current varies among different models. Using the wrong model can damage your computer. Refer to the AC adaptor section in Chapter 2, The Grand Tour. Available in three sizes. ■ 40.0 billion bytes (37.26 GB) ■ 60.0 billion bytes (55.89 GB) ■ 80.0 billion bytes (74.53 GB) Accommodates either 3 1/2" 1.44-megabyte or 720-kilobyte floppy disks. It connects to a USB port. Option or provided with some models. Computers in this series can be configured with an optical media drive installed in the Ultra Slim Bay.
