F7: TALK SETTING This function page includes a number of parameters which affect the microphone sound when the [TALK] button is on. q VOLUME/PAN/EFFECT DEPTH The VOLUME LCD dial sets the TALK volume, PAN sets the stereo pan position of the TALK sound, the REVERB DEPTH dial sets the TALK reverb depth, and the CHORUS DEPTH dial sets the TALK chorus depth. q TOTAL VOLUME ATT. Sets the amount of attenuation to be applied to the overall sound (but not the microphone sound) when TALK is engaged. q DSP MIC The ON/OFF LCD dial turns the DSP effect applied to the TALK sound ON or OFF. The DEPTH LCD dial sets the depth of the DSP effect applied to the TALK sound. The TYPE LCD dial selects the type of DSP effect to be applied to the TALK sound. q VOCAL HARMONY The ON/OFF dial turns VOCAL HARMONY ON or OFF, and the TYPE LCD dial selects the type of VOCAL HARMONY effect to be applied to the TALK sound. • The TALK settings do not affect the related MIXER parameters, and vice-versa. • These settings are only effective when the TALK function is ON.
