Disk save operations - particularly when saving wave/waveform data to floppy disk - take a long time. In the SAMPLING WAVEFORM EDIT mode, added waves don't sound. Appropriate harmony notes are not produced by the VOCAL HARMONY feature. The MIDI connectors don't seem to be functioning properly. Possible Cause/Solution The value is an approximate value. This is normal. It takes approximately 8 minutes to save 1 megabyte of data to a floppy disk. Have you set an appropriate START NOTE prior to adding the wave? See page 98. Make sure you are using the appropriate method to specify the harmony notes for the current VOCAL HARMONY mode. See page 84. The MIDI connectors will only work when the HOST SELECT switch is set to MIDI. 149
