As long as you play within the specific range, any key you play is fine. Just concentrate on playing with the correct rhythm. You'll hear the sound of the notes if your timing is correct. Left-hand part Right-hand part Tr y it o In this example, the right-hand part is played. The Lesson stops automatically when the song is finished. To stop the song in the middle, press the [START/STOP] button. If you'd like to know how well you did... Once you practice a song all the way to its end, the instrument automatically evaluates your performance and displays your grade-OK, Good, Very Good, Excellent. Once your evaluation is shown, the song and Lesson automatically start from the beginning again. NOTE • You can turn the evaluation function off if you want. Do this from Grade page in the FUNCTION display (page 79). Once you've mastered Lesson 1, go on to Lesson 2. Change the tempo To learn more easily, you may want to change the tempo to a more comfortable speed. 1 [Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button. 2 Change the tempo by using the dial or the numeric keypad (buttons [0] - [9], [+]/[-]). You can also set the tempo by "feel," tapping out the beat with the [TEMPO/TAP] button-four times for a time signature of 4/4, three times for 3/4. PSR-K1 Owner's Manual 35
