Basic operations and the LCD display Adjusting the volume The [MASTER VOLUME] control affects both the volume of the speakers and and the volume of headphones connected to the PHONES jack. Turn it to the left to decrease the volume. Turn it to the right to increase the volume. MAIN display When the power is turned on, the MAIN display automatically appears. This display shows at a glance the basic settings of the instrument, including the current song, style, voice, and other settings. Tempo Transpose Repeat indication Displayed when Repeat is on. LOW BATTERY!! Battery power is too low for proper operation. Replace all batteries right away. (See page 10.) Measure number Song number and name Press the [SONG] button to highlight the row and select the song. Style number and name Press the [STYLE] button to highlight the row and select the style. Chord indication Voice number and name Press the [VOICE] button to highlight the row and select the voice for the Main Voice. You can call up the various voice "modes" (MAIN/DUAL/SPLIT/MELODY L/MELODY R) by holding down the [VOICE] button. ACMP Lights when auto accompaniment is ON. Registration Memory bank and number Song track Frame is off when track is muted. Lights when Synchro Stop is ON. Style pattern name REC Lights when a User song is being recorded. * To adjust the display contrast for best viewing, use the [LCD CONTRAST] knob on the rear panel. Touch response Lights when set to ON. Harmony Lights when set to ON. Dual voice Lights when set to ON. Split voice Lights when set to ON.
