INTRODUCTION PREPARATION Problem No sound. No picture. Troubleshooting Cause Remedy Incorrect input or output cable connections. Connect the cables properly. If the problem persists, the cables may be defective. Speaker connections are not secure. Secure the connections. The HDMI components connected to this unit do not support the HDCP copy protection standards. Connect HDMI components that support the HDCP copy protection standards. The HDMI audio output parameter in the SETUP menu (Function Setup → 1 HDMI → Audio Output) is set to "TV." Set the parameter to an item other than "TV." No appropriate input source has been selected. Select an appropriate input source with the RINPUT selector (or eInput selection keys). The volume is turned down or muted. Turn up the volume. Signals that this unit cannot reproduce are being input from a source component, such as a CD-ROM. Use an input source whose signals are reproducible on this unit. A proper audio decoder is not selected. Display the OPTION menu and set "Decoder Mode" to "Auto." The video signal output from this unit is not supported by a monitor connected to this unit via the HDMI OUT jack. Displays the ADVANCED SETUP menu and select "VIDEO" in "INIT" to reset the video parameters. Displays the ADVANCED SETUP menu and set "MON.CHK" to "YES." The VIDEO jack is used to output a component video signal, or the COMPONENT VIDEO jacks are used to output a composite video signal.
