Error and Notification Messages 005C Battery is weak Event Type Warning Cause The Battery Backup Unit periodically evaluates the health of the battery and its ability to backup the 3ware RAID controller in case of a power failure. This message is posted when the result of the health test is below the warning threshold. Action Replace the battery pack if warnings persist. 005D Battery health check failed Event Type Error Cause The Battery Backup Unit is not able to backup the 3ware RAID controller. The Battery Backup Unit periodically evaluates the health of the battery and its ability to backup the 3ware RAID controller in case of a power failure. This message is posted when the result of the health test is below the fault threshold. Action Replace the battery pack. The BBU cannot presently backup the controller. 005E Cache synchronization completed Event Type Information Cause The 3ware RAID controller performs cache synchronization when system power is restored following a power failure. This message is posted for each unit when the cache synchronization completes successfully. www.3ware.com 299
