Depress the treadle to the rear. Depress the treadle forward. Does the machine operate at low speed? Yes Does the thread trimmer function? Yes Does the needle (upper) stop? Yes Repeat the forward and backward treadle depression steps. Is there any variation in the needle Yes (upper) stopping position? Is the needle (upper) stopping position suitable? Yes Set the machine's thread-wiper switch to ON. Depress the treadle forward and backward. Does the thread-wiper function? Yes Is the thread-wiping time suitable? Yes # 11 # 12 # 13 # 14 # 15 # 16 # 17 Does the actuator function? Yes Depress the pedal backward. Set the backtacking speed (control box) to a minimum. Set the start and end backtack switches (operation panel) to ON. Set the stitch count to the as desired value. Depress the treadle fully forward. # 18 Is start backtacking at low speed possible? Yes Is the stitch count correct? Yes Does high speed sewing begin after No completion of start backtacking? Yes Return the treadle to neutral.
