Inventory Management The inventory management utility, AssetControl, makes it easy and inexpensive to maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of personal computers, components, and monitors that support VESA DDC (Video Electronics Standards Association Data Display Channel) and EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) standards. For AssetControl information about your computer, double-click the Insight Personal Edition icon in Control Panel, then click the AssetControl button. Detailed inventory information-including manufacturer, model, serial number, asset tag, and ROM revision level-can be viewed, printed, or saved to a file using Compaq Insight Personal Edition or Compaq Insight Manager.
