Replacing a Discharged Battery Pack Removing a Battery Pack To remove a discharged battery pack from the battery bay: 1. If the computer is on, save open files and initiate Suspend. The power/suspend light begins blinking. CAUTION: To prevent loss of unsaved information when the computer is on, save open files, initiate Suspend, then immediately replace the discharged battery pack. 2. Tilt the computer up 1 to locate the battery release latch. 3. Slide the battery release latch toward the back of the computer 2. 4. Removing a Battery Pack
To remove a discharged battery pack from the battery bay:
1. If the computer is on, save open files and initiate Suspend. The
power/suspend light begins blinking.
CAUTION:
To prevent loss of unsaved information when the
computer is on, save open files, initiate Suspend, then
immediately replace the discharged battery pack.
2. Tilt the computer up
