Finding Online Help To access the online Reference Guide: s Click the Start button, point to Compaq Information Center, then click Reference Guide, or s Click the Start button, then click Help. If you are new to the Windows operating system, double-click the introductory topics on the Help menu to get started quickly. For help using one of the preinstalled Windows programs, click the Help menu within that program. For help using the preinstalled MS-DOS real mode drivers for older MS-DOS based programs or games that require an MS-DOS real mode session, click the Start button, point to Programs, point to MS-DOS Real Mode, then click RealMode.doc. Customizing Computer Settings If you are using Windows 95, you can change most factorydefault settings through icons in Control Panel. To open Control Panel, click the Start button, point to Settings, then click Control Panel. To view settings available in Control Panel, double-click an icon in Control Panel, then click the tabs at the top of the Properties dialog box that appears. If you are using Windows NT, some settings, such as power management, are available through icons in Control Panel. Other settings are available only in Computer Setup. Finding Online Help
To access the online
Reference Guide:
Click the Start button, point to Compaq Information Center,
then click
Reference Guide,
or
Click the Start button, then click Help.
