German Ergonomics Notice The Compaq 2910 series of computers have been evaluated and found to comply with the requirements of ZH 1/618, 1980. The computers were evaluated using MS-DOS Version 3.31 or higher, BASICA/T, and the EGA_THIN.CPI character set, as published by Compaq. In order to meet the minimum contrast requirements of ZH 1/618 when used in a negative polarity mode to display light characters on a dark background, the character colors red and blue should be used in the high intensity/bright color mode. Positive polarity displays (dark characters on a light background) do not meet the background reflection requirements of ZH 1/618. Airline Travel Notice Use of electronic equipment aboard commercial aircraft is at the discretion of the airline. This computer contains a lithium ion battery pack. There is a risk of fire and chemical burn if the battery pack is handled improperly. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts, dispose in water or fire, or expose it to temperatures higher than 60ºC (140ºF).
