Refer to the online Modem Help for a list of compatible cellular phones and associated Compaq cellular phone cables. (Contact a cellular carrier in your area for cellular air time.) CAUTION: Using the wrong cable could cause permanent damage to the modem. Contact your Compaq authorized dealer, reseller, or service provider for information about purchasing a cellular cable designed for this modem. To connect the modem to a compatible cellular phone in North America: 1. With the computer turned off, plug the cellular phone cable into the 25-pin connector 1 on the right side of the computer. 2.
