Gigabit Ethernet Switch User's Guide Factory Reset Before performing a factory reset, be absolutely certain that this is what you want to do. Once the reset is done, all of the Switch's settings stored in NV-RAM (including TCP/IP parameters, SNMP parameters, the enabled/disabled settings of ports, security settings, etc.) will be erased and restored to their factory default settings. 1. Choose Factory Reset from the main menu. The following screen appears: Figure 6-63. Factory Reset screen 2. Move the cursor to Yes to confirm the reset and press . The main menu screen should appear. Logout To exit the Switch, choose Logout from the main menu. You will be returned to the opening login screen. 71

Factory Reset

Choose
Factory Reset
from the main menu. The following screen appears:

Move the cursor to Yes to confirm the reset and press <Enter>. The main menu screen should appear.
Logout
To exit the Switch, choose
Logout
from the main menu. You will be returned to the opening login screen.
