Touching only the outside edges of the DIMM, align the DIMM with the connector. 2. Firmly push the carrier straight down into the connector. Steps
1.

The DIMMs are identified by white or black retaining tabs.
2.
Depress the white or black retaining tabs downward to free the DIMM from its slot.
3.
Remove the faulted DIMM.
