Basic version Advanced version Error messages Set up speakers (Audyssey® Auto Setup) NOTE • An error message is displayed if Audyssey® Auto Setup could not be completed due to speaker placement, the measurement environment, etc. If this happens, check the relevant items, be sure to take the necessary measures, then perform Audyssey® Auto Setup over again. • If the result still differs from the actual connection status after remeasurement or the error message still appears, it is possible that the speakers are not connected properly. Turn this unit off, check the speaker connections and repeat the measurement process from the beginning. • Be sure to turn off the power before checking speaker connections. Examples AUDYSSEY AUTO SETUP Caution! No microphone or speaker Error details • The connected setup microphone is broken, or a device other than the supplied setup microphone is connected. • Not all speakers could be detected. • The front L speaker was not properly detected. Measures • Connect the included setup microphone to the SETUP MIC jack of this unit. • Check the speaker connections. Retry RETURN Cancel AUDYSSEY AUTO SETUP Caution! Front R None 1 2 3 4 5 6 • There is too much noise in the room for accurate measurements to be made. • Speaker or subwoofer sound is too low for accurate measurements to be made. • Either turn off any device generating noise or move it away. • Perform again when the surroundings are quieter. • Check the speaker installation and the direction in which the speakers are facing. • Adjust the subwoofer's volume. • The displayed speaker could not be detected. Error messages
NOTE
An error message is displayed if Audyssey
®
Auto Setup could not be completed due to speaker placement, the measurement environment, etc. If this happens, check the relevant items, be sure to take the necessary
measures, then perform Audyssey
®
Auto Setup over again.
If the result still differs from the actual connection status after remeasurement or the error message still appears, it is possible that the speakers are not connected properly. Turn this unit off, check the speaker
connections and repeat the measurement process from the beginning.
Be sure to turn off the power before checking speaker connections.
