System Setup Page The System Setup Page allows you to change GPS operation modes, use the WAAS capabilities, turn the Message Beep and compass on or off, choose the battery type, and set the altimeter calibration settings to automatic or manual. See the "Appendix" for WAAS capability information. To access the System Setup page: 1. Press the Page button or the Menu icon to open the Main Menu. 2. In the Main Menu, scroll down and select Setup. 3. Select the System icon to open the System Setup page. The Option Menu allows you restore defaults or display the current version of unit operating software and the Unit I.D. Number. Software updates and instructions for downloading are available from the Garmin Web site (www.garmin.com). Rino® 130 Owner's Manual System Setup Page UNIT OPERATION > SETUP PAGES Choose one of the four GPS options other than Normal to significantly save battery power. The Battery Saver mode reduces the rate of satellite signal position updating and the GPS Off option stops satellite signal reception altogether. The Demo Mode simulates navigation. To change the battery type: 1. Use the Thumb Stick to highlight the Battery Type field and then press In. 2. Then use the Thumb Stick to select the desired option and press In. 87
