Command line interface Template parameters Templates have the following parameters: Parameter Name uuid name-label name-description user-version is-a-template Description Type The unique identifier/object reference for read only the template The name of the template read/write The description string of the template read/write string for creators of VMs and templates to read/write put version information true if this is a template. Template VMs can read/write never be started, they are used only for cloning other VMs is-control-domain power-state power-state memory-dynamic-max memory-dynamic-min memory-static-max memory-static-min suspend-VDI-uuid VCPUs-params Note that setting is-a-template using the CLI is not supported. true if this is a control domain (domain 0 or read only a driver domain) Current power state; always halted for a read only template Current power state; always halted for a read only template dynamic maximum memory in bytes. Currently unused, but if changed the following constraint must be obeyed: memory_static_max >= memory_dynamic_max >= memory_dynamic_min >= memory_static_min. read/write dynamic minimum memory in bytes. read/write Currently unused, but if changed the same constraints for memory-dynamic-max must be obeyed. statically-set (absolute) maximum memory read/write in bytes. This is the main value used to determine the amount of memory assigned to a VM. statically-set (absolute) minimum memory read/write in bytes. This represents the absolute minimum memory, and memory-staticmin must be less than memory-staticmax. This value is currently unused in normal operation, but the previous constraint must be obeyed. The VDI that a suspend image is stored on read only (has no meaning for a template) configuration parameters for the selected read/write map parameter VCPU policy. 76
