The range of lines --- line1, line2 ---- indicated with asterisks (*) is for the startup configuration and the range *** line1, line2 **** indicated with dashes (-) is for the startup configuration. + text Indicates that the line is in the running configuration but is not in the startup configuration. - text Indicates that the line is not in the running configuration but it is in the startup configuration. ! text Indicates that line exists in both configurations but in different orders.
