Chapter 6 Security Commands ssh Send comments to [email protected] ssh To create a Secure Shell (SSH) session using IPv4, use the ssh command. ssh [username@]{ipv4-address | hostname} [vrf vrf-name] Syntax Description username ipv4-address hostname vrf vrf-name (Optional) Username for the SSH session. IPv4 address of the remote host. Hostname of the remote host. (Optional) Specifies the VRF name to use for the SSH session. Command Default Default VRF. Command Modes EXEC mode Command History Release 4.0(0)N1(1a) Modification This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines The switch supports SSH version 2.
