2-10 Removal and Replacement Procedures Boards This section will describe how to remove and replace the Hot-Pluggable hard drive backplane board, memory modules, processor and option boards. CAUTION: Be sure to label the drives before removing so that they can be replaced in their original positions. Failure to do so will result in permanent data loss. 2. Extend the server out from the rack to the locked position. 3. Remove cover plate. 4. Remove Y brace. 5. Extend sub panel back. 6. Label and remove signal cables. 7. Remove retaining screws (10). 8. Removing the Backplane Board
1.
Label and remove all hard drives.
CAUTION:

replaced in their original positions.
