Enabling LLDP globally The protocol lldp command enables LLDP globally on all interfaces unless it has been specifically disabled on an interface. LLDP is globally enabled by default. To enable LLDP globally, perform the following steps from Privileged EXEC mode. 1. Enter the configure terminal command to enter global configuration mode. 2. Enter LLDP configuration mode. switch(config)#protocol lldp Disabling and resetting LLDP globally The protocol lldp command returns all configuration settings made using the protocol lldp commands to their default settings. LLDP is globally enabled by default. To disable and reset LLDP globally, perform the following steps from Privileged EXEC mode. 1. Enabling LLDP globally
The
protocol lldp
command enables LLDP globally on all interfaces unless it has been specifically
disabled on an interface. LLDP is globally enabled by default.
To enable LLDP globally, perform the following steps from Privileged EXEC mode.
1.
Enter the
configure terminal
command to enter global configuration mode.
2.
Enter LLDP configuration mode.
