11 CONTROL COMMAND ■ General The IC-R6 can be connected to a PC via the PC's RS-232C port using an optional CT-17 CI-V LEVEL CONVERTER. This allows you to control the receiver from the PC and/or transfer data from the receiver to the PC. Control is provided via Icom's CI-V Communication Interface. An appropriate application for CI-V command is not supplied from Icom. CI-V connections example CI-V compatible transceiver DC 9-15 V PC CI-V compatible transceiver IC-R6 to [SP] RS-232C cable CT-17 2-conductor 3.5(d) mm plug 3-conductor 3.5(d) mm plug must be used.
