Silence All, Alert Notification, Selecting a Key Tone

To set your phone always to vibrate in addition to any ringer settings: 1. With the phone open, press the volume button up or down in standby mode until a volume setting appears on the screen. 2. PressVIBRATE (left softkey) to check the Vibrate On option. (If you have already checked the option, pressing VIBRATE deselects it.) Silence All The Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds without turning your phone off. To activate Silence All: ᮣ With the phone open, press and hold the volume button down in standby mode. (The screen will display "Silence All.") To deactivate Silence All: ᮣ Press the volume button up repeatedly to select a volume level. Alert Notification Set your phone to alert you with an audible tone when you change service areas, once a minute during a voice call, or when a call has been connected, and/or when the signal fades or a call is dropped. 1. Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > Sounds >Alerts. 2. Select Beep Each Minute, Out of Service, Connect , or Signal Fade/Call Drop and press . 3. Press ON or OFF (left softkey). Selecting a Key Tone Your phone offers a number of options for selecting the audible tones accompanying a keypress. 1. Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > Sounds > Keytones. 2. Highlight an option and press . Ⅲ Tone Length to select a key tone length. (Longer tone lengths may be better for tone recognition when dialing voicemail or other automated systems.) Settings
To set your phone always to vibrate in addition to any
ringer settings:

With the phone open, press the volume button up or
down in standby mode until a volume setting
appears on the screen.

Press

(left softkey) to check the
Vibrate On

Silence All
