Pairing Bluetooth Devices Sending Items Using Bluetooth Paired Devices The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted connections between your phone and another Bluetooth device. When devices are paired, a passkey is shared between devices, allowing for fast, secure connections while bypassing the discovery and authentication process. To pair your phone with another Bluetooth device: 1. Press > Settings/Tools >Tools > Bluetooth >Add a New... > Headset/CarKits,All, Phone, PDA, PC, or Printer. (When you select All, your phone will display a list of discovered in-range Bluetooth devices.) 2. Select a device and press . 3. Enter the passkey (if necessary) and press . Sending Contacts This allows you to send all Contacts information in your phone to another party via Bluetooth. 1. If Bluetooth is not set to on, set to On. 2. Press > Contacts, select a contact and press OPTIONS (right softkey) > Send Contact. Ⅲ This: Sends the selected contact. Ⅲ Select: Select desired contacts and send. Ⅲ All: Send all contacts. 3. Highlight a device to send the Contacts information to and press to send. Pairing Bluetooth Devices
Paired Devices
The
Bluetooth
pairing process allows you to establish
trusted connections between your phone and another
Bluetooth
device. When devices are paired, a passkey is
shared between devices, allowing for fast, secure
connections while bypassing the discovery and
authentication process.
To pair your phone with another Bluetooth device:
1.
Press
> Settings/Tools > Tools > Bluetooth > Add a
New... > Headset/Car Kits, All, Phone, PDA, PC,
or
Printer.
