The Basics of Shooting and Playback Step 5 Play Back Images 1 Press the c (playback) button. • When you switch from shooting mode to playback mode, the last image saved will be displayed in full-frame playback mode. c (playback) button Multi selector 2 Use the multi selector to view previous or next images. • To view previous images: H or J • To view next images: I or K • Images can also be selected by rotating the multi selector. • To play back images that are saved in the internal memory, remove the memory card. C is displayed in brackets, before "Current image number/total number of images" on the playback screen. 15/05/2012 15:30 0004.JPG 4/ 132 Current image number/ Total number of images • To return to shooting mode, press the c button again, or press the shutter-release button, or b (e movie-record) button. C Viewing Pictures • Press the x button to switch between using the monitor and viewfinder display (A16). • Press the s button to switch between showing and hiding the photo information or shooting information that is displayed on the monitor (A15). • Pictures taken using face detection (A85) or pet detection (A52) will be rotated automatically when displayed in full-frame playback mode according to the orientation of the face. • The orientation of an image can be changed using Rotate image in the playback menu (A88). • When pictures taken with the continuous shooting feature are displayed, each series of images is treated as a group, and only the group's "key picture" is displayed (see "Sequence display options" (A89) for more information). While the key picture of a sequence is displayed in full-frame playback mode, press the k button to display each image in the sequence individually. To return to key picture only display, press the multi selector H. • Images may be displayed at low resolution immediately after switching to the previous or next 34 image.
