A built-in hard disk or SD memory card can be installed/uninstalled to the printer Add the printer again to the server software. 12 Prohibiting initialization of the built-in hard disk, SD memory card, or flash memory When the built-in hard disk, SD memory card, or flash memory of the printer are initialized, previous log obtained from the server software is deleted. Also, as user information is also deleted from the printer, the server software cannot acquire the correct log. When Print Job Accounting is used, it is necessary to configure the settings so that the built-in hard disk, SD memory card, and flash memory cannot be initialized. Check that the printer power is ON. Start the server software. Double-click [Printer] in the selection window. The registered printer list is displayed in the list view of the details window. Select the printer, and then select the [Printer] menu > [Properties]. Memo Multiple printers can be selected. In the [Option] tab, check the [Inhibit the initialization of the Hard Disk and Flash Memory] check box. Click [OK]. The printer built-in hard disk, SD memory card, and flash memory can no longer be initialized. - 234 -
